1 package Extra-Firm Tofu
1 head Broccoli
1 8-oz package Mushrooms
¼ cup Sesame Dressing
Pantry
2 cups White Rice
1 tsp Chinese 5-Spice
Directions
Wash hands with soap and water. Wash and dry produce. Cut the broccoli florets and discard the stem.
Drain the package of tofu and press between paper towels to remove moisture. Cut tofu into 1-inch cubes and sprinkle with 5-spice.
Cook rice using a rice cooker or the video.
Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute mushrooms, seasoning with salt and pepper, until browned, 3-4 minutes.
Add broccoli and ¼ cup water to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper and cover. Cook 3-5 minutes until broccoli is tender and bright green. Remove vegetables to a large bowl and keep warm.
Add a little more oil to the skillet and cook the seasoned tofu, flipping once, until browned.
Add the vegetables back to the pan along with ¼ cup sesame dressing. Stir to warm through.
Serve over rice. This recipe makes 4 servings. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
