Ingredients

Pantry

  • ¼ tsp Ginger

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar

  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce (or coconut aminos)

  • 2 tsp Cornstarch

  • 1 tbs Sesame Oil (optional)

  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper

  • 2 cups White Rice

Fridge and Freezer

  • 1 lb Ground Beef, thawed

  • 1 16-oz bag Frozen Broccoli

Directions
  1. Wash hands with soap and water. In a small bowl, combine ginger, garlic powder, brown sugar, soy sauce or coconut aminos, cornstarch, red pepper, and sesame oil (if desired).

  2. Cook rice using a rice cooker if you have one, or using the video.

  3. Sauté ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until meat is browned. Add the sauce to the beef along with ½ cup water. Cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Add broccoli, cook and stir until tender. Serve beef and broccoli over rice. Makes 6 servings. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

*Replace soy sauce with coconut aminos to make this recipe gluten free.

*Omit sesame oil to make this recipe sesame free.
