Ingredients
Pantry
1 cup Flour
1 tbs All Purpose Spice Blend
1 cup Breadcrumbs
4 single-serving cups Applesauce
Fridge and Freezer
1 lb Chicken tenders, thawed
2 Eggs
1 cup Ranch Dressing (optional)
1 cup Catsup (optional)
Directions
Wash hands with soap and water. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease a large baking sheet. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork. Pour the breadcrumbs into another bowl.
To a gallon Ziploc bag, add the flour and everyday spice blend. Add the chicken to the bag and shake until well coated. Remove pieces of chicken from the bag, shaking off excess flour, and soak in the egg.
Remove chicken from egg, allowing excess to drip off, and press into breadcrumbs. Always wash hands before and after handling raw meat.
Spread the chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve chicken nuggets with catsup and ranch for dipping (if desired), and applesauce on the side. This recipe makes 4 servings. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
