Ingredients

Pantry

  • ¼ cup Cornstarch

  • 1 lb Spaghetti Pasta

  • 1 tbs Soy Sauce (optional)

  • 1 tbs Rice Vinegar

  • 1 tbs Sesame Oil

  • 1 tbs Sesame Seeds

Fridge and Freezer

  • 1 lb Stir-Fry Beef, thawed

  • 1 bunch Bok Choy

  • ½ cup Orange Juice

  • 1 tbs minced Garlic

  • 1 tbs Hot Sauce

Directions
  1. Wash hands with soap and water. Fill a pot ¾ full of water and bring to a boil on high heat. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Wash, dry and chop the bok choy.

  2. In a bowl, toss beef with cornstarch and salt and pepper (always wash hands before and after handling raw meat).

  3. In a large pan or electric skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high. Add the beef in a single layer and cook without stirring until browned on one side.

  4. Add the bok choy and cook, stirring frequently, until bok choy is softened. Add the sauce (carefully, as the liquid may splatter) and the soy sauce (omit soy sauce for soy and gluten-free). Cook, stirring frequently, 1 to 2 minutes, or until the sauce is slightly thickened and the beef is just cooked through.

  5. Add the cooked noodles. Cook, stirring constantly, 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until thoroughly coated and combined. Divide into 6 portions. Makes 6 servings. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

*Use gluten-free pasta and omit the soy sauce to make this recipe soy and gluten-free.
