This PB&J Oatmeal Bake turns a classic sandwich combo into a warm, hearty breakfast that’s perfect for busy mornings. Creamy peanut butter, sweet jam, and oats come together in a baked dish that’s satisfying and kid-approved.

Ingredients

Pantry

  • ½ cup Peanut Butter (or alternative)

  • 1 tbs Pancake Syrup

  • 1 ½ cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • ½ tsp Baking Powder

  • ½ tsp Cinnamon

  • ½ cup Peanut Butter

Fridge and Freezer

  • 1 ½ cups Milk

  • 2 tbs Butter (optional)

  • 1 Egg

  • ¼ cup Jelly

Directions
  1. Wash hands with soap and water. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8” pan.

  2. In a microwave safe bowl, combine ½ cup peanut butter (or other nut or seed butter), 1 tbs pancake syrup, 2 tbs butter (or oil), and heat for 30-second intervals until it stirs together smoothly.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, baking powder and cinnamon. Empty the peanut butter mixture into a mixing bowl and stir in the egg and milk until smooth.

  4. Spread mixture into the prepared pan. Drop ¼ cup jam by the spoonful onto the batter, then swirl with a knife. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

  5. Cut into 6 bars and serve. This recipe makes 6 servings. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.

*Use dairy-free milk and replace butter with oil to make this recipe dairy-free.
