PB&J Sandwiches

These classic PB&J Sandwiches are a quick, kid-friendly favorite made with creamy peanut butter, sweet jelly, and soft white bread. Paired with crisp apple slices, this simple meal is perfect for lunchboxes or easy snacks.

Pantry

  • ½ cup Peanut Butter

  • 8 slices White Bread

  • 2 Apples

Fridge and Freezer

  • ½ cup Jelly

Directions
  1. Wash hands with soap and water. Wash and dry apples. Cut into slices, removing the core.

  2. Spread 4 slices of bread with peanut butter (or alternative nut or seed butter), about 2 tbs per slice. Spread 4 slices of bread with jelly, about 2 tbs per slice. Put the slices of peanut butter bread together with the slices of jelly bread to make 4 sandwiches.

  3. This recipe makes 4 servings. One serving is a sandwich with half an apple. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
