Ingredients
Pantry
4 Russet Potatoes
1 packet Ranch Seasoning
1 packet Gravy Seasoning
1 15-oz can Broth
Fridge and Freezer
1 bunch Green Onions
¼ cup Butter
8 oz Mushrooms
4 Pork Chops, thawed
¼ cup Milk
Directions
Wash hands with soap and water. Wash and dry the produce. Chop the green onions, discarding wilted parts and roots. Wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Cook the potatoes until tender. Drain, and mash with ¼ cup butter, ¼ cup milk, and season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.
Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the pork chops with the ranch seasoning and brown on both sides until done. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Add a little more oil to the skillet and cook the mushrooms until tender. Add the gravy packet. Stir in the broth, a little at a time, until smooth (use as much or as little broth as you want to get the desired thickness).
Bring to a simmer and add the pork back to the skillet.
Serve pork and gravy over mashed potatoes. This recipe makes 4 servings. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
